Was lucky to get a shot of this with its wings open.  It was hanging around my floor for a few days but this was the only time it decided to show off its wings. Taken on Nov 21, 2009. Click on the pic for a better view.

What am I listening to?

Just watched Vanilla Sky again the other day and then had to start listening to fantastic selection of songs that are part of the soundtrack. Salisbury hill - peter gabriel   Where do I begin - chemical brothers  Directions - Josh Rouse Njosnavelin (Nothing Song) - Sigur Ros Rez - underworld Truly outstanding stuff, and all hold up remarkably well after all these years. The main theme (as well as the variants of it in the film) is simply beautiful.   You expect an above average soundtrack from a Cameron Crowe film and Vanilla Sky does not disappoint.

What am I listening to?

Some songs are just timeless classics. A long December - counting crows Losing my religion - R.E.M Losing my religion - Tori Amos Say yes - Elliott Smith When I come around - Green Day Have no idea where the counting crows are now, but will always remember "a long december".  Thanks to the "Higher Learning" soundtrack, I heard the great cover of "losing my religion" by Tori Amos.  Say yes is one of the best from the very talented Elliott Smith (truly gone before his time) and "When I come around" still remains one of the all time best Green Day songs.
