21,246 Kilometers……. in 17 days!

So there we were, October 7, 2010, Kaniz and I were about to embark on our longest trip both in terms of days as well as kilometers.  We had been planning on visiting Australia for a while and this seemed to be the right time.  As we would be going via KL, we decided to spend some time in KL as well. So this is what it came down to: Dhaka to KL – 2,579 kilometers.  KL to Melbourne – 6,360 kilometers. Melbourne to Sydney – 713 kilometers. Sydney to Gold Coast – 686 kilometers. Sydney to Canberra – 285 kilometers. So you take all that and multiply by 2 to get the combined travel that we did and you come up with a grand total of 21,246 kilometers in 17 days or 1250 kilometers per day on average…..   Overall, it really was a fantastic trip.  The fact that our time helped us maximize our time more effectively than would otherwise be the case.      Day 2, KL Bird Park.  (2,579km).
